In this comprehensive renovation, we breathed new life into the home by embracing a Modern Mediterranean (Ibiza-style) aesthetic. The goal was to replace dated structures with organic textures and a luminous, airy feel.
The Kitchen: We stripped away the traditional cabinetry to create a custom, built-in kitchen. Using microcementfor the countertops and structural frames, we achieved a seamless, monolithic look that perfectly complements the natural grain of the pine wood doors. The heavy upper units were replaced with floating wooden shelves and integrated LED lighting to enhance the sense of space.
The Bathroom: Following the same design language, the bathroom features a custom-built vanity and a partition wall finished in warm-toned microcement. The soft curves and the backlit circular mirror create a spa-like sanctuary.
The Details: We preserved the original terrazzo flooring, which now serves as a vintage anchor to the clean, white walls and dark wooden beams. Every element—from the raffia pendant lights to the minimalist black hardware—was chosen to evoke a sense of coastal serenity.
